''Judy Chicago has always been an involved artist. Her art is not created exclusively for aesthetic purposes but also carries messages that she wishes convey. As an early feminist, she claims the rightful place of women in all sectors of activity. She condemns exploitation and cruelty, promotes compassion and works to bring together communities.

Chicago Glass/en Verre marks, after 28 years of absence, the return to Montreal of the world famous artist Judy Chicago. Many still remember Dinner Party presented in 1982. This exhibition, still in the Top 5 of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montreal, marked Quebec and participated in the feminist movement of the 1980s. Chicago in Glass/en Verre presents at the Musée des maîtres et artisans du Québec, from September 22, 2010 to January 2011 a corpus of 17 recent glass pieces.''

This catalogue was produced for the exhibition Chicago in Glass/en Verre presented at Musée des métiers d'art du Québec, from September 2, to january 9, 2011.
