"This museum project traces Quebec residential design in patterns of descendent culture. The guest curator shows that customary interiors by professional designers and talented amateurs transmitted domestic values from the Ancien Regime until Expo'67, when global design in postwar interiors presented a viewpoint of Québec diplomacy and identity in a Canadian context. Representative examples are highlighted, and recent examples from the Quebec's Master and Artisans Museum holdings are featured."
