Two day formation : October 25th and 26th from 9H00 to 17H00
This masterclass is meant for people who love working with their hands and have done some forms of craft, not particularly textiles. It can accommodate up to 12 participants In this masterclass, the participants will learn how to use paper string to create knotted work that follow two-tone knotted patterns in the knot library that Nithikul Nimkulrat has developed by using mathematical notation methods.
On the first day, after warming up with tying reef knots and getting to know how to read a tiling notation, the participants will select patterns from the knot library to knot.
On the second day, the participants will continue with their chosen patterns to create a three-dimensional form.
Each participant can bring scissors, a ruler and masking tape, other materials are provide.
The training is intended for professional textile artists and emerging artists, as well as professional artists from other craft disciplines and visual arts.
